In the cup
A clear, bright infusion, moving between green-gold and golden lemon in colour.
On the nose
Pronounced citrus from the verbena, with a delicate peppery note.
On the palate
Clean, vivid lemon-verbena character with a slight astringency: a gently drying sensation that gives the infusion definition. Saffron brings brightness to the blend.
The finish
Lingering citrus, with the verbena’s character remaining on the palate after the sip.

Our understanding begins with the living leaf.
We grow some of the lemon verbena and saffron used in our blends on our smallholding in the Cambrian hills, supplementing our harvests with carefully selected ingredients.
Growing gives us a point of reference beyond the finished, dried ingredient: the aroma of the living plant, the character of the harvested leaf, and what remains after drying and infusion.
