Nestled high on a Cambrian hill, our family tends a smallholding where mint, chamomile, lemon verbena, wild nettle, and saffron grow in the clean mountain air. What sets us apart is simple: we don’t just blend tea, we grow it ourselves — by hand, sometimes with our children's help. Every tin of Cambrian Tea carries the flavour of our land, our labour, and our love for herbs, offering you a cup that is truly rooted in place.

Saffron has been shown to have powerful mood-enhancing properties, sometimes compared to mild antidepressants like Prozac. Grown on our family smallholding high on a Cambrian hillside, our herbal teas are as close to nature as you can get. Every leaf is nurtured without chemicals, hand-picked at its best, and gently dried by us to lock in its natural character. We use as many whole leaves as possible for a fuller, fresher flavour, and package each blend in compostable or recyclable inner bags and recyclable boxes and tins, ensuring our teas are pure, sustainable, and crafted with care from soil to cup.
Every blend in our Saffron Range carries a touch of saffron — some grown by our family on our smallholding, carefully complemented with trusted partners’ harvests. Celebrated for its uplifting qualities and long tradition as a natural mood brightener, saffron adds a gentle golden note and is prized for helping with mental health conditions like depression, anxiety, and mood-related issues.

Our fields in the Cambrian hills are entirely free of chemicals, additives, and machinery. We preserve the natural life of the soil by hand-flipping sods with a shovel rather than ploughing with tractors, encouraging healthy roots, vibrant plants, and soil that is alive with biodiversity. The pure mountain air adds its own touch — clean, unspoilt, and ideal for producing herbs of exceptional quality.
